54. HTML Entities, Symbols, and Emojis

HTML entities are used to display reserved characters and special symbols safely in content. Tutorials also often cover named and numeric entities as well as emoji support in UTF-8 pages.

Example

Output

The page displays the literal h1 tag text, a copyright symbol, and an emoji.
